How to delete all rows with specific word


Suppose we want to delete all rows which contains particular text, for example "Shruti"

First you need to find all the cells with name "Shruti". Read more about How to search any word in Excel using "Find"
 Press Ctrl+F to find text and click on "Find All" to go through all search options

Now Press Ctrl+A to select all search options and close the Find and Replace dialog box.

You can see that excel has selected both the cells.

Now, right click on any of the selected cell and select Delete.

It will open "Delete" dialog box. Click on "Entire row" and click OK.


All the rows with name "Shruti" have been deleted.
