How to edit contents of cell

To edit cell contents, first you need to be in the Edit Mode. You can enter Edit Mode in two ways: 

  1. By Double Clicking on the cell (whose content you want to edit)
  2. By clicking in the formula bar after selecting the required cell 
You can edit cell contents by performing any of the following task

Deleting Cell contents
Select Cell Content and then Press "Delete"  OR Right Click + Select Delete

Copy & Paste Cell contents
 Follow below mentioned steps: 
  1. Select Cell content
  2. Press Ctrl + C
  3. Select destination cell
  4. Press Ctrl + V
Ctrl + C (For copy), 
Ctrl + V (For paste)
Moving Cell contents to another cell
 Follow below mentioned steps: 
  1. Select Cell content
  2. Press Ctrl + X
  3. Select destination cell
  4. Press Ctrl + V
Ctrl + X (For Cut),
Ctrl + V (For Paste)
Insert line break in current cell
  1. Double Click on cell
  2. Place curson where you wanat line break
  3. Press Alt + Enter
 Alt + Enter
Edit formula
  1. Select cell 
  2. Press F2
 F2
Applying Borders
  1. Right Click on the cell
  2. Click on "Format cells"
  3. Click on Borders
  4. Select appropriate option
  5. Click OK button. 
Ctrl + Shift + 7 
(Shortcut only for outside border)
